EMERGE Program, hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, is a mentorship program that aims to enhance both career awareness and academic achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for at-risk 9th grade girls. Our program consists of a blended method of face-to-face mentoring session in conjunction with tele-mentoring (using electronic communication or computer conferencing systems) to support a successful mentoring relationship.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to nurture persistence and academic excellence in economically and/or culturally disadvantaged female learners.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to increase diversity in STEM professions.

OUR VISION

EMERGE works through a series of well-defined interventions to promote academic/character and career awareness at the early stage in a young woman’s development.
